- In a medium bowl, whisk together shoyu, mirin, sake, sugar, sliced ginger, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Add the cubed boneless, skinless chicken thighs to the bowl with the teriyaki sauce and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F and prepare the basket with non-stick cooking spray.
