Salad
  • 4 cups Lettuce (Spinach and Butter Lettuce Combination) fresh base
  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries can substitute with blackberries
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries quarter before mixing
  • 8 oz Fresh Mozzarella sliced or mini balls
  • 1/4 cup Pine Nuts can substitute with almonds
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil for garnish

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  2. In a mason jar, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, crushed garlic, maple syrup, thyme, salt, and pepper. Shake vigorously until emulsified.
  3. In a serving bowl, create a bed of lettuce. Layer with blueberries, quartered strawberries, and mozzarella.
  4. Top with toasted pine nuts and fresh basil. Drizzle with dressing just before serving or serve on the side.
