  • 1 pound lean ground beef ground turkey or chicken can be substituted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or use fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder fresh chopped onion can be used
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce essential for umami flavor
  • to taste salt & pepper adjust as needed
For the Special Sauce
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise or additional Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup can use sugar-free ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard Dijon mustard is a good alternative
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish or finely chopped pickles
  • to taste pickle juice optional
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika optional for smokiness
For the Wrap Assembly
  • 4 large high-protein wraps/tortillas whole wheat or gluten-free can be used
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce or romaine
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese low-fat or dairy-free options are available
  • ½ cup dill pickles can be omitted
  • ¼ cup chopped onions optional

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add lean ground beef and cook for about 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce until no pink remains.
  2. In a bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, light mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, and pickle juice until smooth and creamy.
  3. Warm wraps in a microwave for about 10–15 seconds or in a skillet over low heat for 1–2 minutes to make them pliable.
  4. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the sauce over each wrap. Add cooked beef mixture, lettuce, cheese, and optional dill pickles and onions.
  5. Fold in the sides of each wrap and roll bottom up tightly. Optionally, toast in a skillet for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
