Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the finely chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 5 minutes until apples are tender.
- Stretch each biscuit round to about 3 inches in diameter and place 1 tablespoon of the cooked apple mixture along with one caramel candy in the center.
- Pinch the edges of the dough rounds tightly to seal and roll each ball between your hands to create a smooth shape.
- Place the formed dough balls in the greased baking dish, brush each with melted butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown and puffy, then remove from oven and cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve warm, optionally drizzled with caramel sauce or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes
For best results, serve warm from the oven, and keep an eye on them while baking to prevent over-browning.
