Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the finely chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 5 minutes until apples are tender.
  3. Stretch each biscuit round to about 3 inches in diameter and place 1 tablespoon of the cooked apple mixture along with one caramel candy in the center.
  4. Pinch the edges of the dough rounds tightly to seal and roll each ball between your hands to create a smooth shape.
  5. Place the formed dough balls in the greased baking dish, brush each with melted butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown and puffy, then remove from oven and cool for a few minutes before serving.
