Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown 1 pound of ground beef for about 5–7 minutes until no pink remains. Drain excess fat and sprinkle in your desired seasonings, including salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir continuously until the mixture is well-combined, then add 1 cup of shredded cheese, mixing until melted and gooey.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). While the oven heats, roll out a can of crescent roll dough on a clean surface, then cut it into squares about 4 inches on each side. Arrange the dough squares on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Place a generous spoonful of the cheeseburger filling in the center of each dough square. Fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket, pinching the edges tightly to seal.
- Arrange the sealed cheeseburger pockets on the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 22–25 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
These pockets are perfect for freezing. Assemble and freeze before baking for quick meals. Bake directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the bake time.
