Method
 

Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking sheet or loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.
  3. Shape half the mixture into a loaf and create a trench down the center.
  4. Fill the trench with shredded mozzarella and cover with remaining meat mixture.
  5. Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar for the glaze, then coat the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
