Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the bread by removing crusts from 6 slices of fresh white sandwich bread and flattening each slice with a rolling pin until ¼ inch thick.
  2. Create the filling by blending 2 tablespoons melted butter, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. Roll the slices tightly from one end to the other after spreading the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  4. Prepare the egg mixture by whisking together 2 large eggs, ¼ cup milk, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract in a shallow bowl.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons butter for frying.
