  • to taste Pepper Essential for seasoning.
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Adds gooeyness and a golden crust; use dairy-free alternative if desired.

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your broiler to medium heat.
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  3. Drain most of the bacon fat from the skillet, leaving about 1-2 tablespoons.
  4. Melt the butter in the skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for about 2 minutes until transparent.
  5. Stir in the broccoli florets, season with salt and pepper, and cook for approximately 3 minutes.
  6. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Pour in the light cream and reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Crumble the cooked bacon into the skillet and mix well.
  9. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.
  10. Broil for 2-3 minutes, watching closely until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Remove from oven, adjust seasoning with additional pepper, and serve.
