  • 2 stalks Green Onions substitute with chopped shallots for different flavor
  • 2 cloves Garlic fresh preferred, or use 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning adjust according to spice tolerance
  • 1 pound Large Shrimp cooked and chopped, can swap with crab meat
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Neufchâtel cheese can be used as a lighter alternative
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese can be omitted for a dairy-free version
For Serving
  • 1 loaf Toasted Baguette Slices can substitute with tortilla chips or vegetable sticks

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add diced bell pepper and chopped celery; sauté for about 6 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in chopped green onions, minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning; cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add cooked shrimp, cream cheese, and grated Parmesan; stir until smooth.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly, then serve with toasted baguette slices.
