For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese (grated) Omit for a dairy-free version.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of water and cook frozen udon noodles according to package instructions (3-5 minutes). Drain, rinse, and set aside, reserving ½ cup of noodle water.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic and chopped shallot. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in gochujang and cook for 30 seconds. Gradually pour in heavy cream and reserved noodle water, then add soy sauce and gochugaru. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  4. Add cooked udon noodles to the sauce, tossing gently for 1-2 minutes to coat. Keep heat low to warm through.
  5. Serve garnished with parmesan cheese and green onions. Enjoy hot!
