Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add 12 oz of small pasta noodles and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Prepare the Add-Ins: Thaw 2 cups of frozen peas at room temperature for about 10 minutes. Cook 12 oz of thick cut bacon in a skillet until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Crumble the bacon and set aside. Grate 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese.
  3. Whisk the Dressing: In a medium bowl, combine 3/4 cup mayonnaise, 2 TBS olive oil, and 1 TBS apple cider vinegar. Add 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, add the cooked and cooled pasta, peas, crumbled bacon, and grated parmesan. Gently fold together, then pour the dressing over and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Chill and Serve: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Serve immediately if short on time, but chilled enhances taste.
