Ingredients
  

For the Fish
  • 4 filets White Fish (cod, haddock, or tilapia)
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Buttermilk or milk with lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning or favorite seafood seasoning
For the Breading
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1 cup Plain Breadcrumbs or panko for extra crispiness
For Cooking
  • 1 spray Cooking Spray olive or avocado oil can be used
Optional Side & Garnish
  • 4 servings French Fries homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup Tartar Sauce homemade recommended
  • 1 whole Lemon cut into wedges

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Pat the white fish filets dry using paper towels.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine all-purpose flour with 1 tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the large eggs and buttermilk.
  4. In a third bowl, mix plain breadcrumbs with remaining Old Bay seasoning.
  5. Dredge each fish filet in seasoned flour, then dip in egg wash, and press into breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Lightly spray both sides of the breaded fish with cooking spray.
  7. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  8. Arrange the coated fish filets in a single layer in the preheated air fryer basket.
  9. Cook the fish for 6 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  10. Remove the fish from the air fryer and serve immediately with optional sides.
