Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Allow it to heat for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Cut each slice of thick sliced stale bread into four sticks.
  3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the milk, large eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon thoroughly.
  5. Dip each bread stick in the egg mixture very quickly and place in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook the French Toast Sticks in the air fryer for about 8 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  7. Once cooked, toss the sticks in the cinnamon-sugar mixture while still warm.
  8. Serve warm with maple syrup or other toppings for dipping.
