Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by washing and patting dry two large apples. Carefully slice them into ¼-inch rings, ensuring to remove the core.
  2. Lay the sliced apple rings on a clean towel and pat them dry gently to help the coating adhere better.
  3. Prepare three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with a whisked egg and milk, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with cinnamon.
  4. Coat each apple ring first in flour, then dip into the egg wash, and finally coat in the cinnamon breadcrumb mix.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the coated apple rings in a single layer in the fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden and crispy.
  7. Transfer the rings onto a serving plate and sprinkle powdered sugar or drizzle with honey before serving.
