  • 24 oz Marinara Sauce Opt for one with herbs
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
For Assembly
  • 4 pcs Hoagie Rolls Sturdy rolls recommended
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Can substitute provolone
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Butter Optional for toasting
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Parsley Optional for garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare by gathering frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Place frozen meatballs in the slow cooker and pour marinara sauce over them, then sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  3. Set slow cooker to LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  4. About 15 minutes before serving, toast hoagie rolls in the oven at 375°F for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Assemble the subs by placing 4-5 meatballs and marinara in a toasted hoagie roll, topping with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  6. Broil the assembled subs for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
  7. Let cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
