  • 1 cup Red Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Red Cabbage chopped into slivers
  • 1 cup Carrots shredded
For the Dressing
  • 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil can replace with avocado oil
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or agave syrup for vegan option
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar or white vinegar as substitute
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation
  1. Begin by washing and chopping the broccoli into bite-sized florets. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli with crumbled bacon, finely chopped red onion, slivers of red cabbage, and shredded carrots. Stir gently to incorporate all ingredients.
  2. In a small bowl, combine Dijon mustard, olive oil, honey, and apple cider vinegar. Add minced garlic, a pinch of salt, and a dash of pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Pour the Honey Dijon dressing over the salad ingredients. Use a spatula to gently toss everything together, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  4. Cover the salad and refrigerate it for at least one hour before serving.
