Step-by-Step Instructions for Crunchy Muesli Bars
  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C (325°F) or 140°C for a fan-forced oven.
  2. Spread out rolled oats, roughly chopped almonds, and pepitas on a baking tray. Toast in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
  3. Combine honey and natural peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds until warm, then stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the warm honey and peanut butter mixture over the toasted ingredients. Add in sultanas, cinnamon powder, and cooking salt. Mix until evenly coated.
  5. Line a 20 cm (8-inch) square pan with parchment paper. Press the muesli mixture firmly and evenly into the pan.
  6. Chill the pan in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  7. Pre-cut the chilled mixture into bars before baking.
  8. Bake for about 25 minutes, watching closely for golden brown edges.
  9. Cool the bars completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  10. Lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut into final shapes.
