Step-by-Step Instructions for Crunchy Muesli Bars
- Preheat your oven to 160°C (325°F) or 140°C for a fan-forced oven.
- Spread out rolled oats, roughly chopped almonds, and pepitas on a baking tray. Toast in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
- Combine honey and natural peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds until warm, then stir until smooth.
- Pour the warm honey and peanut butter mixture over the toasted ingredients. Add in sultanas, cinnamon powder, and cooking salt. Mix until evenly coated.
- Line a 20 cm (8-inch) square pan with parchment paper. Press the muesli mixture firmly and evenly into the pan.
- Chill the pan in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Pre-cut the chilled mixture into bars before baking.
- Bake for about 25 minutes, watching closely for golden brown edges.
- Cool the bars completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut into final shapes.
