Step-by-Step Instructions for Easy Chocolate Hummus
  1. Start by draining a can of chickpeas and reserving the aquafaba. Rinse the chickpeas under cold water.
  2. Combine the rinsed chickpeas with tahini, maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, kosher salt, and reserved aquafaba in a food processor. Blend on high for 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness with more maple syrup or creaminess with more aquafaba, blend again until smooth.
  4. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 7 days. Serve after letting sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
