Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt 1 stick of salted butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
  3. Combine the cooled brown butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl, mixing until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix gently until just combined.
  5. Gradually sift in baking soda, salt, and flour, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in Rice Krispie cereal and mini marshmallows.
  7. Scoop large balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  8. Bake for 10-13 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers look soft.
  9. Sprinkle with flaked salt immediately after removing from oven and cool on the baking sheet.
