Step-by-Step Instructions for Almond & Medjool Date Tart
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Allow about 10-15 minutes for the oven to fully heat up.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, maple syrup, and a little bit of water. Mix until a cohesive dough forms and press into a 10-inch tart pan.
  3. Place the tart pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove and set aside to cool slightly.
  4. In a blender, combine pitted Medjool dates, coconut milk, vanilla extract, sea salt, and cornstarch. Blend until smooth.
  5. Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust and spread it evenly.
  6. Return the tart to the oven and bake for an additional 35-45 minutes until set and golden.
  7. Let the tart cool at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours before serving.
