Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and gather the salmon fillets and ingredients.
  2. In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 minced garlic clove, and 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. Whisk together.
  3. Place salmon fillets in a dish and pour the marinade over them, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake the salmon for 10-15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  5. In a saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter and sauté 1.5 tablespoons minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  6. Add 1 cup of heavy cream to the saucepan and bring to a gentle boil, then simmer until thickened.
  7. Stir in an additional tablespoon of lemon juice and parsley. Adjust seasoning as needed.
