  • 1 pinch Flaky Sea Salt
Optional Additions
  • 1 handful Arugula For a peppery kick and added freshness.
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Glaze Adds sweetness and tanginess to balance the flavors.

Equipment

  • Skillet

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by slicing your French baguette or ciabatta in half lengthwise. Scoop out some soft bread from the top half to create space for the fillings.
  2. Drizzle olive oil on the cut sides of both bread halves. Toast the bread cut side down in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Spread the basil pesto evenly across the bottom half of the toasted bread. On the top half, spread the Calabrian chili paste.
  4. Drape the slices of prosciutto over the pesto on the bottom half, fluffing and folding for better layering.
  5. Pat the fresh burrata dry, place it on top of the prosciutto, and break it open slightly.
  6. Press the top half of the toasted bread down firmly over the fillings, cut in half, and serve immediately.
