Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the lean ground beef over medium-high heat for 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning.
  3. Spread softened cream cheese evenly across the bottom of a pie dish, then pour the salsa over it. Layer with the seasoned beef, and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Check and bake uncovered for a few more minutes if necessary.
  5. Remove from oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, and serve hot with tortilla chips, Fritos, or veggie sticks.
