- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the lean ground beef over medium-high heat for 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning.
- Spread softened cream cheese evenly across the bottom of a pie dish, then pour the salsa over it. Layer with the seasoned beef, and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Check and bake uncovered for a few more minutes if necessary.
- Remove from oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, and serve hot with tortilla chips, Fritos, or veggie sticks.
