Step-by-Step Instructions for Ham & Cheese Puff Pastry
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of heavy cream in a small bowl for the egg wash.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into 6 equal rectangles.
- Add ham and gruyere cheese at the center of each rectangle; optionally add Dijon mustard.
- Brush edges of pastry with egg wash, fold corners over filling, and pinch to seal.
