Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, blend your creamy mashed potatoes, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until a soft, cohesive dough forms.
  2. Turn the dough out onto a well-floured surface and gently knead for about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Roll the dough out to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into rounds or quarters.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a pat of unsalted butter, melting until bubbly.
  5. Cook the cut potato farls in the skillet for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Remove farls from the skillet and serve warm, either plain or with toppings.
