- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 200 grams of pasta and cook until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
- Sauté the Garlic: In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Create the Creamy Base: Pour in 1 cup of cream, reduce heat, and simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring until combined.
- Incorporate Miso and Cheese: Whisk in 3/4 cup of Parmesan until melted. Add 2 tablespoons of white miso and a squeeze of lemon juice, stirring well.
- Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly. Use reserved pasta water to adjust the sauce consistency as needed. Heat through.
- Serve and Garnish: Plate the pasta while hot, and garnish with black pepper and fresh herbs if desired.
