For Assembly
  • 1/4 cup Semi-Sweet chocolate chips For melting and securing

Equipment

  • Microwave
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Microwave-safe bowl

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by placing about 1/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat them in the microwave at 15-30 second intervals, stirring well after each interval until completely melted and smooth.
  2. Take a Nutter Butter bite and spread a small dollop of the melted chocolate on one flat side. Quickly press a Hershey's Kiss onto the chocolate, ensuring it sticks well to form the acorn cap.
  3. Using a toothpick or your fingers, dip another small amount of melted chocolate and attach mini semi-sweet chocolate chips to the top of the Hershey's Kiss.
  4. Place the decorated Nutter Butter acorn cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow them to cool and set for about 15-20 minutes at room temperature.
