Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, plain Greek yogurt, and water. Stir until smooth.
  2. Divide the batter into three bowls. Add red food coloring to one bowl and blue to another, stirring until vibrant.
  3. Pour each colored batter into greased baking dishes and bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool completely before crumbling.
  4. Crumble each cooled cake into a bowl. Roll 1-2 tablespoons of cake into balls and chill for about 1 hour.
  5. Melt the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals. Add vegetable shortening until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted coating and sprinkle with decorations immediately.
  7. Place finished cake pops upright to set in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
