Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Combine softened butter, all-purpose flour, and sugar in a medium bowl until resembling coarse crumbs.
- Press two-thirds of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the lined baking pan evenly.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Wash and chop strawberries, toss with sugar and flour to coat.
- Spread the strawberry mixture over the warm crust evenly.
- Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over the strawberry layer and return to the oven.
- Bake for an additional 30-35 minutes until bubbling.
- Cool completely in the pan, then prepare the vanilla glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over cooled bars, slice, and serve.
