Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by placing a small frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and allow it to heat for about 1 minute until it shimmers.
  2. Carefully add the finely diced red onion to the hot oil, stirring frequently for 1-2 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  3. Sprinkle in the ground turmeric, stirring it in to coat the onions and garlic evenly. Cook for another 30 seconds.
  4. Add the drained silken tofu into the pan. Using a fork, gently mash the tofu until it reaches a scrambled texture.
  5. Season your tofu scramble with salt and pepper to taste, and stir thoroughly.
  6. Remove from heat, transfer onto a plate or gluten-free toast, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
