Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Noodles: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook udon noodles according to package instructions, 2-3 minutes for fresh noodles. Drain and rinse under cold water. Set aside.
  2. Sauté the Chicken: Heat 2 tbsp of sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken and sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Stir-Fry the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add bell peppers and carrots. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp. Remove and set aside with the chicken.
  4. Combine Everything: In the same skillet, add noodles, chicken, and vegetables. Pour in soy sauce and vegetable broth, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add Garlic & Garnish: Sprinkle minced garlic during the last minute of cooking. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
  6. Serve & Enjoy: Transfer Yaki Udon to bowls, drizzle extra soy sauce or sesame oil if desired, and serve hot.
