  • 10 leaves Fresh Basil roughly chopped, parsley can substitute
  • Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese for serving, can skip for dairy-free option
  • Small Basil Leaves for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti or bucatini and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 10-15 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Toss in the halved cherry tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until softened.
  5. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  6. Combine the drained pasta with the tomato mixture, adding pasta water gradually until achieving the desired sauce consistency.
  7. Remove from heat and fold in the chopped fresh basil, adjusting seasoning as needed.
  8. Serve with grated Parmigiano Reggiano and garnish with small basil leaves.
