Step-by-Step Instructions

  5. Pipe the macaron batter onto the prepared parchment in tree shapes, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  6. Allow the piped macarons to rest at room temperature for 30-60 minutes.

  8. Cool the macarons and prepare the buttercream filling.
  9. Assemble the macarons by piping buttercream on half of the shells and topping with the other half.
