  • 2 bags Black Tea Bags Can substitute with 2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea.
  • 4 cups Water Divided for brewing tea and infusing flavors.
For the Mango Purée
  • 1 fruit Ripe Mango Can substitute with frozen mango cubes.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Adjust quantity based on sweetness preference.
To Serve
  • Ice Consider using frozen mango cubes instead.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by boiling 2 cups of water in a saucepan over high heat. Once boiling, remove from heat and add 2 black tea bags. Let steep for 10 minutes.
  2. While the tea steeps, peel and dice 1 ripe mango. In a separate saucepan, combine the mango with the remaining 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Mash the mango to create a puree.
  3. Strain the mango mixture into the pitcher with the brewed tea to remove pulp. Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey until dissolved.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature before serving over ice. Garnish with fresh mango slices if desired.

Notes
