Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) and place a baking sheet on the center rack.
  2. Remove the tough membrane from the back of the ribs and rinse under cold water. Pat dry.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Stir until well blended.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over both sides of the ribs and generously apply the dry rub, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Let the ribs rest for 15-20 minutes at room temperature to absorb flavors.
  6. Wrap the seasoned ribs in aluminum foil, meat side up, and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  7. Open foil packets carefully, brush barbecue sauce on both sides of the ribs while warm, and place on the grill or under the broiler for 5-7 minutes per side.
  8. Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes before slicing and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
