- Carefully remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- In a bowl, combine apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, sea salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Coat both sides of the ribs with your prepared marinade and wrap in plastic wrap.
- Soak wood chips in water for about 30 minutes if using.
- Place the ribs bone-side down on the grill grates away from direct heat.
