  • 4 slices bread sourdough, Texas toast, or Italian bread

Preparation Steps
  1. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter with 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons of grated Pecorino Romano cheese, and 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh Italian parsley. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
  2. Take 4 slices of sturdy bread and generously spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice.
  3. Create your sandwich by placing two slices of American cheese between two slices of bread, ensuring the buttered sides face outward.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
  5. Allow the sandwiches to cook for about 3-4 minutes on the first side.
  6. Flip each sandwich carefully and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
