For Flavoring
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced; adjust for stronger taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Pepper Flakes Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Herbs (like parsley or rosemary) Dried herbs can be used if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Tamari or coconut aminos can be used as alternatives.

Preparation
  1. Marinate the steak by combining flank steak strips with soy sauce, olive oil, black pepper, and hot sauce. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook halved baby potatoes for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add butter, minced garlic, red chili flakes, and herbs in the skillet, sauté for 30 seconds. Then, add marinated flank steak and cook for 1 minute on each side.
  4. Stir in the reserved marinade, thicken slightly, then add golden potatoes back to the skillet and toss. Serve immediately.
