  • 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar Substitute with apple cider vinegar or white wine vinegar if needed
For the Cod
  • 4 fillets Cod Fillets Substitutes include halibut, haddock, or tilapia
  • to taste Salt and Pepper For seasoning
For the Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Green Onions (chopped) For garnish
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds For garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, and rice vinegar.
  3. Place the cod fillets on the baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Brush the glaze generously over each cod fillet.
  5. Bake the cod for 12 to 15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. While baking, chop the green onions and toast sesame seeds in a small skillet over medium heat.
  7. Once cooked, remove cod, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve.
