  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Opt for sea salt for a more robust taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Freshly cracked recommended.
  • 1 medium Avocado Can replace with guacamole or sour cream.
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese Greek yogurt is a lighter alternative.
For the Sweet Kick
  • 1/4 cup Hot Honey Mix regular honey with red pepper flakes for a homemade version.

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for roasting the sweet potatoes.
  2. Toss diced sweet potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Spread evenly on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast the sweet potatoes for 40–45 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  4. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté diced yellow onion until soft, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Add the lean ground beef to the skillet with onions, sprinkle in taco seasoning and cook until browned, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. Assemble the bowls with roasted sweet potatoes as a base, followed by the ground beef mixture, avocado slices, and cottage cheese.
  7. Drizzle with hot honey to finish.
