Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  2. Pat the chicken wings dry using paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Toss this onto the prepared wings.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange wings in a single layer and bake for 35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, honey, water, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and red pepper flakes. Bring to boil, then simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
  6. Toss the baked wings in the honey garlic sauce until coated. Return to the baking sheet and bake for another 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Let the wings cool for a few minutes, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve warm.
