Ingredients
  

For the Ribs
  • 2 pounds Pork Ribs Baby back or spare ribs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil Can substitute with olive oil
For the Marinade
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar Coconut sugar is a substitute
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup Use homemade tomato sauce for a healthier option
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce Tamari or coconut aminos for gluten-free
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple Juice Apple juice can be used as a substitute
Aromatic Additions
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger Substitute with 1 tsp ground ginger if needed
  • 2 cloves Garlic Can replace with 1/4 tsp garlic powder per clove

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) and prepare two baking sheets lined with aluminum foil.
  2. Pat the pork ribs dry and coat with sesame oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, pineapple juice, minced ginger, and minced garlic.
  4. Apply the sauce generously on both sides of the ribs and let them sit for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Bake the marinated ribs on the baking sheets for 3 to 4 hours, rotating every hour.
  6. Check the ribs for doneness after 3 hours and continue baking if necessary.
  7. Let the ribs rest on a cutting board for about 10 minutes before slicing.
