Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat ½ cup of milk in a saucepan over medium heat until hot, about 2-3 minutes. Stir in 1 tablespoon of dried culinary lavender, cover, and let it steep for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Strain the lavender-infused milk through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or measuring cup, pressing the lavender buds gently.
  3. Pour the strained lavender cream into a mason jar or pitcher and froth with a milk frother for about 30 seconds. Add ¼ cup of heavy cream and froth again briefly.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder with 2-3 ounces of hot water until smooth, adding honey or simple syrup if desired.
  5. Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in ½ cup of cold milk, then gently pour the prepared matcha over the milk.
  6. Top the drink with chilled lavender foam, spooning it gracefully on top. Optionally, sprinkle dried lavender on top.
