Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare oats mixture by combining rolled oats, milk, molasses, and vegetable oil. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 8-inch round cake pans.
  3. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl including flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Cream unsalted butter with granulated and light brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla bean paste.
