- In a large mixing bowl, combine Devil’s Food Cake Mix, eggs, and canola or vegetable oil. Mix until well blended and thick.
- Scoop and roll 1.5 tablespoons of dough into balls. Place on prepared sheets, leaving space for expansion.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until edges are set but centers are slightly soft. Cool on sheets for 5 minutes before transferring.
- Beat softened butter until creamy, then add powdered sugar, black cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
- Frost cooled cookies and decorate with M&Ms, sprinkles, licorice, and chocolate ears.
- Let decorated cookies sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour to set.
