Step-by-Step Instructions for Brie and Cranberry Bites
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cut brie cheese into 24 half-inch cubes, leaving the rind intact.
  3. Roll out thawed puff pastry and slice into 24 square pieces, each about 3x3 inches.
  4. Press pastry squares into a mini muffin tin, place a brie cube in each, and top with cranberry sauce.
  5. Whisk together egg and water to create an egg wash; brush the edges of each pastry cup.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Cool for 5-10 minutes, then garnish with honey, flaky sea salt, or fresh herbs.
