  • 2 cloves Garlic Fresh is best, but minced will work.
  • 1 piece Egg Omit for a vegan option.
For the Topping
  • 100 grams Parmesan Cheese Vegan cheese can be used for dietary preferences.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Extra virgin is preferred.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Prepare ingredients while the oven heats.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
  3. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine sautéed spinach, ricotta cheese, and beaten egg until well mixed.
  5. Fill each cannelloni shell with the creamy spinach mixture.
  6. Pour tomato sauce into the bottom of a baking dish, spreading evenly.
  7. Align the filled cannelloni in the dish and pour remaining sauce over the top.
  8. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes.
  9. Allow cannelloni to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
