Cooking Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. In the same pot, melt 4 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour for 1 minute, then slowly add heavy cream while whisking until smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Add Boursin cheese and white cheddar cheese, mixing until completely melted and creamy.
  4. Fold in the drained pasta, ensuring each piece is well coated. Adjust creaminess with reserved pasta water or milk as needed.
  5. In a separate skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add breadcrumbs and toast for 3–5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Spoon Boursin Mac and Cheese into serving dishes and sprinkle with toasted breadcrumbs. Garnish with chopped herbs if desired.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy the creamy and crunchy combination!
