  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Warm Water or hot brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips optional
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate or dairy-free chocolate
  • 1/2 cup Whipping Cream or dairy-free cream

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine milk and white vinegar, let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Whisk in light brown sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until dissolved.
  4. Stir in instant coffee granules and cocoa powder until fully combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture.
  6. Slowly mix in warm water until the batter is smooth.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Melt dark chocolate and cream together to make the ganache.
  10. Pour ganache over the cooled cake and let set before slicing.
