Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine chocolate chips and chopped pecans, then add eggs, sugar, melted butter, flour, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the unbaked pie shell and spread evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour. Check for doneness after 45 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and set on a wire rack to cool for at least 2 hours before slicing.
- Slice and serve, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
